You won’t see me post things like this often - I’m careful to be sure that I know what is going on is legit before I pass things like this along, and I know of this situation personally as this woman is a friend of a friend. Please take a moment to read this and visit the site.
Ashley Evans is pregnant with identical twins. The problem is, they are monoamniotic. This means that they share the same amniotic sac, with no membrane separating them.
This places them at high risk of complications, the most common being that their umbilical cords could become entwined, which could cut off blood flow to one or both of them, resulting in fetal death.
Because of this being such a high risk pregnancy, Ashley is currently in the hospital for around-the-clock monitoring and is unable to work. With the lack of one parent’s income and mounting medical bills to boot, the family is having difficulty paying for necessities and is in danger of losing their home.
